1. Library (3 images): 5.13.2011; McKay Library, Rexburg ID; f5; 1/100; Canon Rebel T2i; Manual
I created Library with three images I took at the David O' McKay Library on the Brigham Young University- Idaho in Rexburg. It was a little dark in the library so I used a larger aperture to let more light in, but added a quick shutter speed to avoid blur. I opened the images in Adobe Photoshop using auto-Photomerge. I cropped, re-sized, and flattened the layers in Photoshop as well. In addition I added saturation and levels adjustment layers to the image. No major edits were made to change the image coloring, only to enhance it.
2. River Bank (7 images): 5.13.2011; Nature Park, Rexburg ID; f16; 1/250; Canon Rebel T2i; Manual
I created River Bank from seven images I took at the Nature Park in Rexburg, Idaho. Again I used the Manual settings to allow me creative flexibility. It was very bright during these photos so I closed by f-stop down to 16. I wanted to try doing a Panorama using two layers of images, so that is why I took seven of this particular landscape. Since there was so many pictures, the blending was not automatically perfect. I used Content-Aware fill to add grass to the bottom. That was not perfect either so then I used the clone stamp to get ride of the blending lines. I then added a levels adjustment layer to enhance brightness. No saturation was added. Cropping, re-sizing, and flattening of the image was all done in Adobe Photoshop. Edits were minimal and only for the purpose of natural enhancements.
